The Longmont Sustainability Plan, adopted in 2016, provides a road map for Longmont to achieve the vision of becoming an engaged community that promotes environmental stewardship, economic vitality, and social equity to create a sustainable and thriving future for all.

The Plan focuses on actions that can be taken over the next ten years to help meet long-term sustainability goals in ten primary topic areas:
