The Longmont Sustainability Plan, adopted in 2016, provides a road map for Longmont to achieve the vision of becoming an engaged community that promotes environmental stewardship, economic vitality, and social equity to create a sustainable and thriving future for all.
The Plan focuses on actions that can be taken over the next ten years to help meet long-term sustainability goals in ten primary topic areas:

The Just Transition plan will be developed in partnership
with underserved and underrepresented communities to develop policy and program
recommendations that will work to ensure an equitable transition to 100%
renewable electricity that is reliable and affordable by 2030. An equitable
transition means creating inclusive engagement, recommendations and action in
our community.

desatendidos y poco representados, ya que ellos brindarán recomendaciones para

electricidad 100% renovable que sea confiable y económica para el año 2030. Una
transición equitativa significa crear oportunidades de participación inclusiva,
escuchar recomendaciones y planear pasos a seguir en nuestra comunidad.
